“Non traditional families” have the same issues as “traditional families.”  In turn, they have the same rights when it comes to divorces, alimony, child support, child custody and the equitable distribution of marital property.  No longer do you have to have a biological relationship to a child to have parental rights.  Each case is very fact specific.  These divorces can be just as messy and contentious as traditional families.  You need an experienced legal advocate in your corner who  understands the process, advocates for you and is compassionate  and understanding of the issues.  Our founder, Janice Roven, has been though the process and will work diligently in her representation.
